"We are so grateful we opted to take the Bradley Method Class! The information and practice we received during the classes, as well as the encouragement from Kristen and being with other expectant couples truly made the difference for us. My husband and I felt well-equipped to make decisions before, during and after the healthy home birth of our first child. We would choose this route again and certainly recommend it to anyone."

"This class was so empowering and totally helped shed any fear we had about the labor and birth. It happened to fall on our regular date night and was incredibly bonding for my husband and I. We are more connected and both feel more confidant about each other and our jobs during the labor and birth."

"Kristen was an amazing supportive addition to our birth plan. We looked forward to class every week and really enjoyed Kristen's insight and personal birth story. If it wasn't for the Bradley classes and Kristen's topnotch teaching we would not have been prepared for what happened. My labor came on very strong at 1130pm and my baby arrived by 0455am. My transistional labor seemed to last forever and it was terrible. BUT we made it through because we were educated and had a firm understanding of what was happening which was a HUGE help in getting us through. I think so many moms and couples just don't know what's happening and it makes it much more scarey than it is. Also, I think it makes it that much easier to let other people make decisions for you. Kristen gave us the power in our birth because we were educated in the process and confident in the body to do what it was designed for. In the end I must say what we learned in this classs was essential to our successful home birth. I also feel that if we had had to transfer to the hospital we would have been able to continue to advocate for us and the baby. KNOWLEGE IS POWER and the Bradley class gave us POWER and CONFIDENCE."

"We heard good things about the Bradly method classes and Kristen Pearson was recommended to us. And so we singed up. Like every class, subject matter is important, but even more important is the way it is presented. So how do you teach a subject that is deeply personal, sometimes scary, and overwhelmingly exciting? Well, there is no one answer, but the knowledge, experience and personality of the teacher is paramount. From the start, Kristen made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. She was professional in her presentation of the material, clearly and concisely covering all topics, but also created creative space for the class to positively interact through the sharing of stories, feelings and opinions. Kristen created an empowering platform for us to communicate with each other and discuss everything related to child birth and parenting. We would recommend Kristen and this class to anyone expecting a baby!"

"This class totally prepared us for a home birth. We came to class knowing little about what to expect and our midwife commented on how knowledgeable we had become since taking the class."

"We are so glad we took this class! Because the Bradley Method is designed to be an intensive 10-12 week course, this means that the informations we received was thorough, detailed and well explained. The workbook prompted us to have discussions about our fears, our preferences, and our birth plan. We learned how to practice relaxation techniques together and have enjoyed motivating each other to eat healthy, be active and prepare for whatever situation may arise. This class has helped me feel peaceful, calm, empowered and has brought my parther and I closer together through this pregnancy."

"After taking Kristen's class on natural childbirth, we decided to hire her as our doula. We are eternally grateful to have crossed paths with her and to have had her be a part of our daughter's birth. She is truly an expert in this area. Her knowledge and ability to remain calm and consistent helped us through our homebirth tremendously. She demonstrated a high degree of warmth and empathy throughout the entire process, while continuing to motivate and encourage us as we moved through the labor and delivery process. She seemed able to sense our needs before we could even voice them. Her follow up care was also an unexpected surprise. She seemed genuinely interested in how we were doing post-partum, and provided us with ongoing advice and support as we transitioned from "expecting" to "new parenthood." Our family is forever indebted to Kristen for providing us with education about the birthing process, and then supporting us as we took part in it. We will always have a soft spot for her in our hearts and will never forget the very important role she played in helping us bring our daughter into the world; naturally and at home, just like we had planned. "We are so grateful to Kristen for helping us bring our baby girl into the world. Kristen was amazing in her dedication and ability to anticipate our needs. We planned a home birth but ended up in the hospital and having Kristen with us made all the difference in the world. Her presence is calm, reassuring, and steady. She had great suggestions and ideas during tough moments, and she looked out for both of us, keeping us fed and supporting us through nearly 40 hours of labor (which happened to be over Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning). Massaging my feet and legs, helping me focus, allowing my husband to get some much needed rest, and offering every sort of physical, mental, and emotional support- Kristen's presence was absolutely invaluable."

"Kristen was not only our doula but also Bradley Method Chidbirth class instructor. Even though this was our second birth, we learned so much from her prior to the birth that we felt much more comfortable and calm right from the beginning. She provided great assistance with managing pain through massage, hot/cold packs, and suggesting different positions. Kristen is calm and caring, and listened to our desires and expectations and made sure they were all granted when it came time. Without her there, I'm not sure I would have been strong enough to have an unmedicated birth but she helped me stay confident that I could do it. I had some complications after the birth that required me to have surgery and she stayed to help out my husband and I get through that stressful experience. I strongly recommend Kristen to anyone wanting a natural birth in our out of the hospital. She genuinely cares about her clients and wants every woman to have a good birth experience!"

"We wanted a humanized birth without artificial inducers or c-secton and we felt that with all the stress of labor we were not going to be able to achieve it. Also we are non-native speakers and were also afraid that with all the confusion of the moment we were not going to be able to correctly communicate with the nurses and doctors. Kristen help us to deal with our fears before and during our child's birth.
Before labor, Kristen gave us advice on what to ask the doctor during our prenatal visits, and talk us about all the little details that would help us to be comfortable during labor.
During the long 18 hours of labor, she was an invaluable emotional and physical support. She brought hot pads for relieving pain during contractions, she was there reminding us to walk, to take deep breaths, and even to eat. She was there giving us the support that we needed to reach that humanized birth that we aimed.
Kristen is a wonderful person and a great Doula.
